Água Verde Apartment is a home located in Curitiba, Brazil.
It was designed by Leandro Garcia and covers an area of 323 square feet.
Água Verde Apartment by Leandro Garcia:
“The proposal developed for this 30 square meter (323 square foot) studio, whose owner and only resident is an ex ballerina, was to enlarge and maximize the social area and get the most out of each space. Thus, the living and dining areas occupy exactly the same place.
This is possible in part thanks to the table Camelo (1998), from Ovo (Luciana Martins and Gerson de Oliveira), which has adjustable heights and can be used both as a coffee table as a dining table.
The kitchen is restricted to just a countertop and cabinets located inside a niche in the side of the social area, next to the wet areas (laundry and bathroom). An amber mirror over the counter generates a feeling of spaciousness, emphasized by the striped rug and also by the sofa without side arms, designed by the architect.
One of the sides of the couch rests against the large white bookcase that surrounds much of the apartment and hides the access to the bedroom through a sliding door.”
